The ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Kenya, Ms. Danijela Čubrilo Martić, hosted a cocktail for members of the Serbian diaspora in this African country. The gathering of our citizens was used to, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, officially open the Serbian ethno corner in the premises of our Embassy in Nairobi.

In the Serbian ethno corner are exhibited objects that represent the richness and diversity of our cultural heritage in the most beautiful way, which were acquired with the help of the aforementioned ministry or by ambassador Čubrilo Martić. In the coming period, these objects will decorate the premises of our Embassy in Nairobi and will serve to familiarize the local diplomatic community, Kenyan officials and the public of the host country with our culture and tradition. Some of the exhibited elements are inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
