The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Nairobi, Ms. Danijela Čubrilo Martić, presented the letters of credence to the President of the Republic of Kenya H. E. William Ruto at a solemn ceremony.

In a short conversation, the possibilities for further improvement of political dialogue and cooperation between the two countries were discussed.

Ambassador Čubrilo Martić emphasized the readiness for joint work on increasing the volume of bilateral trade and investments, as well as her commitment to the promotion of Serbia, its heritage, economic potentials and national priorities.

She expressed hope that Kenya will take part in the EXPO 2027 specialized exhibition in Belgrade.

She underlined gratitude for the fact that Kenya did not recognize the unilaterally declared independence of the so-called "Kosovo", respecting the UN Charter, international law and the legally binding resolution of the UN Security Council 1244.

Speaking in Swahili, she thanked for the hospitality and said she would spare no efforts to be the best ambassador of friendship between our two proud nations.
