The Minister for the Environment Protection Mr Goran Trivan participated in the UNEA4 assembly, taking place March 11 to 15. 2019 in Nairobi. Minister Trivan delivered a speach and later participated on the side event presenting the results of the Belgrade Regional Conference „Chalenges of the Polution in Southern and Southeastern Europe“, held in december 2018. During his visit minister spoke with the new executive director of UNEP Ms Inger Andersen and also with the acting executive director UNEP Ms Joice Msuia. On this occasion minister Trivan was elected as a vice chair of the East Europe group for the forthcoming UNEA5.
